Get ready for a tail-waggin’ good time at the 18th Annual Dam Dog Walk on Saturday, April 5th at Big Oak Recreation Area! This FREE family-friendly event is a celebration of our furry friends and a fantastic way to support animal rescue efforts in Hart County.
Join us on the scenic Walk Waddle Run Trail leading to the dam, where you and your pup can collect free gifts along the way! No dog? No problem! You can walk one of our adorable, adoptable rescue dogs from the Hart County Humane Society and the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter. If your dog prefers a ride, pet strollers will be available, ensuring that everyone—big, small, or tiny—can enjoy the fun.
Shop at our charity thrift booth, where brand-new items will be available for a donation, and purchase spay/neuter certificates to help reduce pet overpopulation. We’ll also be collecting dog and cat food donations…
